In UX design and marketing a persona is a fictional character created to represent a user type that might use the website, product or brand you are working on. Although it's impossible to get something like this accurate, persona's are important because they creates boundaries for a team to work within and help as examples to understand each other's ideas and pitches.

Personas are made in groups to create multiple types of expectations and attitudes. It's possible one user presents a large section of intended users. They are the leading primary personas. The secondary personas have differing needs, skills and goals. One persona in a group is usually negative, or a buyer instead of a user to cover more range. By using personas and discussing how they would think or feel about something you have a better chance of considering more relevant aspects.

For this project I create 2 personas. I create them on the basis of people who would be using the site and had intentions to go through with a booking. I chose this perspective because of the nature of the website, I wanted to use a confident persona and a persona that would maybe need some reassurances and information to go through with the booking.

Here we have Karen, she comes to hire the mafia from a business perspective.

Working as a politician. She's also a well insulated criminal, always looking to create long term relationships of understand with other organisations.

Karen does not know any financial limitations and that's what makes her a great client to have. She believes the transaction of paying people more is a more trustworthy way of ensuring no one will be "ratting her out". Karen appreciates the time saving a website like Take Outs can offer, she can use it at home, in her office, on her phone or desktop.

Then we have Steve. Steve is using the site from a more personal perspective. He's a hurt man looking to spend his money in a way that can relieve his pain. Steve is a one time client initially, but has the potential depending on how the power of the website makes him feel to come back for more.

Steve does not have a lot of financial liberty, so he would also be a candidate for becoming a member of Take Outs. Steve's priority is providing for his children, and joining a family that can serve his needs but recognises his values is a potential new career path for him.

When making these personas I thought about financial status, the persons values, their occupation, traits, motivations. Also their future involvement with the company.
